According to the report by Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel, on the supply side, Chinese new stainless steel production capacity will reach 7.5 million tons, with a total capacity scale of nearly 45 million tons, and the capacity utilization rate will remain in the range of 60-70%.

In terms of products, at present, the proportion of the 200 series of stainless steel products in China was 28%. But since 2017, the Chinese market for the first time has seen a decline in the proportion of 200 series products, so it could be expected that in the future 200 series stainless steel products will gradually decrease, while the proportion of 400 series products will increase.
